The Scout Pro winch is specifically engineered for frequent use in harsh off-road environments, ideal for owners of heavily kitted-out, extremely heavy, or towing vehicles. Built with larger modulus gearsets (meaning bigger, stronger gears)
Complementing this powerhouse winch is our Monkey Fist Soft Shackle, an absolute essential for any serious off-roader. Constructed from 10mm UHMWPE rope with a minimum breaking strain of 15 tonnes, this shackle is built to withstand serious abuse thanks to its super heavy-duty braided tight sheath over the core. The oversized Monkey Fist knot design guarantees zero chance of the shackle coming apart during a recovery.
The braided heavy-duty sheath allows for direct connection to regular recovery points (ensure they are in good condition and free from nicks or burrs). Unlike traditional steel shackles, this soft shackle is surprisingly easy to disassemble even after a significant load has been applied.
The versatile Monkey Fist Soft Shackle can be used for a multitude of recovery tasks, including:
- Connecting your vehicle to a snatch strap or kinetic rope.
